After linking Microsoft account to Forza Horizon 5 to PS5, we still get a prompt to sign in...

Generally, when you play a Microsoft game on the Playstation, you will be prompted that you need to associate an account with it, and all you need to do is sign in to your Microsoft account (you will need to enter your account and password) in order to play the game.

You can only link one account:

"Linking a Microsoft account to a PSN account is on a title-by-title basis and permanent. Players have the ability to unlink the Microsoft account to that PSN account, for Forza Horizon 5, but will be constrained to relinking to only that specific and originally linked, Microsoft account"

You can't do anything...once it's linked, it can't be changed:

Please make sure that you are signing in with the exact Microsoft account you originally linked to your Forza profile. Even a small typo or switching between multiple accounts can lead to issues. Also, verify that you’re logged into the correct PlayStation Network (PSN) account on your console.

And then use the In-Game linking process for Forza Horizon 5, the linking process is designed to be initiated from within the game itself.

Launch Forza on your PS5. At the title screen, choose the option to link accounts.

An access code will appear on-screen; take note of it.

Open a web browser on any device and navigate to microsoft.com/link.

Input the given code and follow the prompts to sign in with your Microsoft account, double-checking that the information matches your prior account details.

This process re-establishes the connection between your PSN and Microsoft accounts as required for gameplay.

Make sure that both your PS5 system software and Forza Horizon 5 are updated to the latest versions.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly uninstall and then reinstall the game in order for the corrupted files will be deleted.
