    After latest Delta update controller prompts for update but then says there is no update


    I've read that this update does include a new firmware for the controllers, but I can't update any of my two controllers.

    They don't prompt an update when I turn them on, instead they prompt it when I plug a headset. This happens every single time a headset is plugged so it's easy to reproduce.

    Both controllers are at version 3.1.1221.0. I've already reported the issue on the hub.

    Are you recording to internal or external storage? The latest forced Delta ring update (same update as Omega currently) on June 2 broke 4k capture again for me, SDR and HDR.

    Okay, in that case you may need to downgrade to Windows 21H1 (in order to see if you're able to use your controller properly)

    open Settings and go to Update & Security > Windows Updates > View update history > Uninstall updates.

    Uninstall the latest feature update.

    After that reboot your PC if prompted > press Windows+R and type winver and see if now it's not saying 21H2

    If that doesn't work, open Settings and go to Update & Security > Recovery.

    Click on Get Started under Go back to previous build of Windows.

    Yes the docking station works perfectly fine via PC and Xbox however charging isn't the issue I'm being prompted from my Xbox to update my controller when I plug it up directly to the controller to charge it from the USB port on the front of my Xbox once I confirm to update I get the progress screen after the progress screen I get the no updates needed screen and then recycle It gives me a update required button again I'm not stuck at the screen the controller is usable after leaving the screen It's just asking me to update when I'm already on the latest firmware for the controller
