After Glow headset

My After Glow headset for my xbox1 doesn't work when I plug it into my controller, but it works when I plug it into my laptop. What do I do?

I can't talk to my friends in a party and in lobbies.

I have after glow headset and controller. When i have the AG controller i cant hear people talking but i can hear the game. but my headset is wireless. Once i use the normal Xbox controller, i can hear them, but they cant hear me. Ive also tried using the
Xbox headsets and it still does not work.

The mix amp is what blends the game audio and chat into your Turtle Beach headsets or other gaming headsets.
