My birthdate states that im over 18 so that is not a problem. I'm not in any microsoft family at this moment, i tried creating families with my other account but that did not change anything and i removed all accounts from family after that

I almost removed myself from my family as I should not be in it and I can remove myself, but it said that if I remove myself it would delete any access to Xbox services and the Xbox, is there another way you can get rid of child accounts like changing your age or something, and if you can change your age, how?

I changed his age to 18 & removed him from the family. It then allowed me to set a home console under that gamer tag. After that worked I changed his age back to the proper age and brought him back into the family group. Everything is now working properly as it should be!

I understand I won't be able to leave the family as I have a child account, and I'm not over 18, but I still don't understand why my dad can't remove me from the family, I've been looking for a while and there are a few people having the same issue, the error message "Only a family organiser can remove someone from the family", but my dad IS the only family organiser.

the issue I was having in games was "You cant play with content created by others", which has limited me from quite a few features, so I tried to change this through Xbox but I couldn't because I was part of a family.

So my dad tried to fix this by changing my content restriction age to 18, which didn't work, and we ended up resorting to trying to remove me from the family group, which also seems to not be working.

I looked around some more and a fix to any one of these issues would help massively,

I also think it would help if I mentioned that my account age is 13, but if there is a way we can change that app either through Microsoft Family or my account settings that would help as well.
