Advice required re. multiplayer games/ accounts/ gold at home please. TY.

Please can someone clear up these simple questions for a noob (me)?

I have an xbox one s

1 - If I don't have Xbox gold - if I download a game, eg. minecraft on my account - can my kids play it on the same xbox console but logged into their own accounts?

2 - If I have 2 Xbox ones at home - is it possible for my kids to play together eg. minecraft - without having xbox gold..... or would just 1 of them need xbox gold, or would both need xbox gold? Ie/ do I need multiple gold accounts for multiplayer stuff
at home?

server lag *bug*

I play at different times with different people using different connections, drinking different beverages, lol (j/k)

I've noticed once you get above 3 players the connections seriously degrade for users with slower connections.

We have a lot of fun building, ganking zombies, exploding, but to get bumped out of the game every 5min is really bad. Also, it is major frustration on the part of the leader to always re-invite, re-invite, re-invite, re-invite, re-invite, "HEY! Re-invite
me please!"

People in Canada want to play your game, but can't.

People in China want to play your game, but can't.

People in their digs in Europe, living in not enough space to throw a cat want to play, but can't.

You have huge markets of people with M-O-N-E-Y. They want to throw it at you, but they can't.

Hey, do you want to make some money and make people happy? Please fix the multiplayer. ty ty ty ty ty tyvm (considered dragging 5 creepers to your office)

I need help with this error

Sea of Thieves is an only multiplayer game and an Xbox Live Gold subscription is required (unless you are trying to play on a Windows 10 PC).

If your account has an Xbox Live Gold subscription and you still cannot play, please perform the following steps:

1. Remove your account from the console.

2. Restart your console.

3. Re-add your account.

and then try again to play the game.

Please let us know if this works!

1. Yes. Just set that console as your Home console and they can access any games that are on your account without needing yours to be logged in.

2. If they want to play from each separate console, then they would need at least 1 gold subscription.

All games with an online multiplayer require an active Gold membership or have one account sharing gold on the Xbox (set your Console to home) to play online multiplayer.

Hey there IllNine353!

Balverine has some great advice. I just wanted to add that playing multiplayer on Xbox Live requires a Gold Account. You can either upgrade your account to a Gold Account (if you want him to use your account) or you can upgrade the new account that you make
for him to Gold.
