    Advice on hardware issue? Xbox powers off immediately after turning it on.


    I have an older xbox one s that will often give me trouble when I go to turn it on. I hit the button, it chimes, the light comes on, then it shuts back down after a second or two. It doesnt even register on the tv. It does this anywhere from 2-20 times. After that it boots up normally and works perfectly fine until im done using it. Its the only problem ive ever had with it. Power supply? Some other part? Too much dust?

    Just hold in the power button to turn it off and then turn it back on immediately. That resolved the issue for me.

    Well...

    It might be a console problem...

    if you have done full powercycling the console and tried a different outlet...

    If PSU light is solid green and orange then PSU is fine...

    The best course of action is to send it in for repair...

    Test network connection problems

    There is no issues with XBOX Live status at the moment so you may need to restart your network hardware after you turn the console off and remove the power cable.

    Once the network is connected restore power to the console and turn it back on.

    Still waiting on a response, cause I keep having this issue right when I turn on the console. I keep having to old the power button in to reset it, immediately after turning the console, just to get it to play discs.

    Either the X1s hardware or software is defective. No wonder this console is still losing Playstation.
