Advantages to being in a trade guild?

So, really, what advantages are there because I'm not seeing it. I suppose it depends on what you're seeking to do. I merely visit guild traders to buy things I'd not normally acquire or, things which would take a long time to acquire. For example, I have
70+ trait stones at this point, mostly because I've bought them when I've found them for a cheap price. At any rate, what have you found to be an advantage of being in a trade guild, assuming you're not trying to sell things?

Advantages to being a Alchemist

My dude is a glass cannon, without the glass armor. My big specialtys are sneak, conjuration, archery, and alchemy. At level 34 I still get one hit by certain spells. I see magic and I pray to god I can pop my magica resist in time.

 

Advantages to being a Alchemist

One day I am going to make a character that specializes in Alchemy, I am so sick of making Restore mana pots that have a mana damage affect on them.

 

No replies. As I had expected, there must not be any advantages for most of us. And, I was way off re: the number of trait gems I have. I've 164 right now. lol

 

Advantages of trade guilds....

Not all guilds are traded publicly, so being part of one allows you to buy things at any bank location.

most trade guild if they are doing their job correctly, will have a public trader, which now allows you to sell your items to the public which is very profitable... and if the guild is profitable enough as a whole the guild can afford a public trader in
a populated area...

because of the mass number of traders in that guild, the guild tends to be able to afford to have their trader in a better area, the better the area, the more you sell, and the higher level items you end up selling.... (you rarely sale vet 5 items in a
starting area)....

With that all being said... I think it is not only important to be part of a trading guild, but better yet a guild that does things together, has leadership, does PVE/PVP, Crafting, ect but that also has a guild trader... if you are interested in joining
