    Adult Account Issue


    I have been playing Xbox for a while. Four years ago, I created my first account, of which was a child account and I have used it ever since. That was at a time when I didn't understand what the restrictions for a child account were. I created my adult account
    out of ignorance, thinking that I needed it to use my child account, without knowing the restrictions on the child account. This hasn't posed as a problem for the past years, until custom gamerpics were released on the Xbox: Beta App. Whenever I try to upload
    a custom image, it either says "For custom gamerpics, you need to be older." or, "You need to have an adult account." or something like that. I have every setting in my account switched to just that, adult settings. I have removed the adult account from the
    family, changed privacy/security settings, gone to microsoft.com and changed them there. Maybe this is a glitch or bug, or it is just because of my stupidity. Either way, It would be great to be able to upload custom gamerpics instead of having some generic
    picture on my profile all of the time, but I am not allowed to, although I have an adult account now. If anyone can help me out here, that would be great. Of course, I have already expected the possibility of having no solution to this, but it's fine anyway.

    Adult account sign in issue

    Your account must have a parental account attached to it. You would need to sign in with the parental account.

    I am trying to sign in to my new XB1 as an adult account but even if i choose the "I am the adult" option it still asks for a parent account. Haven't found any way around this, need help please.

    Removing the parental account doesn't make you an adult account it only makes it harder for you to change your settings until you reads an parental account

    Only father time can make you an adult

    Follow these steps!

    1. Go to the Change gamer tag page at account.xbox.com.
    2. Sign in using the Microsoft account email address and password associated with your gamertag.
    3. Enter your new gamertag, and then select Check Availability.
    4. Once you find an available gamer tag, click Claim it.
    5. Note If your gamer tag was created for you when you initially signed up for Xbox (meaning you did not choose it yourself), you can change it one time for free. Additional Xbox gamer tag changes cost extra. If you created your own gamer
      tag at signup and want to change it, you will be charged (fee varies by region and currency)

    Depends on the way you have registered your account for xbox live. If you have registered an account under 18+ of age that is a child account
