    Hi!

    I noticed the feature to customize the dash and remove all of the useless game pass news and micro-transaction links that take up 85% of what I’m looking at has been taken off the menu.

    So now instead of having a neat categorized dashboard, it’s “events” no one participates in, community updates that just say when someone else got an achievement playing a game, and tons of Roblox and Halo and Fortnite ****, Which I don’t care for. And **** whoever thought seeing Toyota ads when I turn on my $500 console was a good idea lol.

    I would hope all of this gets fixed and returned to how it’s been for a while, but we know how Microsoft can be.

    You have purchased a console that is subsidized to thr tune of up to and including several hundred dollars. Had you purchased an equivalent PC at the time of the series X launch, it would've run you about $1200, scalping aside

    Ads have been part of the dashboard for 20 years

    things like community updates are important, we get complaints all the time from people that didn't read them, and then they lost their Minecraft account because they failed to migrate it as they were repeatedly warned over the course of almost 2 years

    I wish you could customise this dashboard but apparently shoving ads and useless feeds down our throats is more important. I just cancelled my Gamepass renewal because I've been playing a lot more PC games from Steam because no ads on my dashboard and I don't have to pay for multiplayer.

    The new dashboard ads replacing all but 2 groups is simply obnoxious on Microsoft's part. Especially without an option to make it how it was previously.

    I once saw a feed that was titled something on the lines of "Books that became games". Like I care. What an absolute joke.
