    Additional Network Ports for Multiplayer Gaming: Unavailable nat issue since switching to a fibre connection.
    hi connected to a new fibre Internet last week with a brand new RT-ac 88U. Ever since I have had unavailable nat. Can not get a teredo IP address.

    I have port forwarded, created a static ISP for my Xbox, spent countless hours with support, Microsoft, asus and my new ISP provider. Nothing is helping.

    The connection is via cat6e cable and I still get the same error when trying to connect wirelessly. I have reset, factory reset, power reset both Xbox and router and powered down the ONT....you name it I've done it.

    The router is set to bridge mode. Help!

    Additional Network Ports for Multiplayer Gaming: having problems with my nat type saying open and unavailable
    it just started today my nat type says open but when i check multiplayer connectivity it says unavailable and when i back out it still says open . i also have been having issues with multiplayer games dropping me in middle of matches and party chat failling
    but when i check it still says open. iv already did a reset and it still has this issue.

    Hello my son is having trouble chatting and playing with his friends online. My NAT is saying that the Teredo is unavailable. Can someone please help me with this.

    Have you tried to hard reset the console? Another option would be is to factory reset the modem; if you have rebooted it already.

    Try a hard reset of the xbox hold the home button for 8 seconds till it completely shuts off and unplug the xbox for 5 minutes then forget your network and try reconnecting

    I have the same problem after this latest update and Microsoft doesn't help to open your ports anymore!!!! you have to contact your internet provider. I was connected by ethernet/wired and got this same message about the teredo... (my internet provider
    could not seem to help with this either. so i connected wireless and Bam it worked for me. and stated that my NAT was open.... hope this helps you

    Try changing the DNS on Xbox One.

    Use Google.

    The Google Public DNS IP addresses (IPv4) are as follows:

    Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8

    Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

    After changing, restart Xbox One.

    It worked for me.
