Additional Network Ports for Multiplayer Gaming: Problem with NAT type and packet loss!
Hello, I have a problem that is bothering me a lot! Today I'm trying to download Tom Clancy's Raibow Six Siege game and it's taking forever! But not because of the bad internet, my internet is 20 Megs and when I go to "My Games and Apps" on Xbox One it is
downloading the game only with a download speed that ranges from 10 Mb / s to 8 Mb / s. I entered the support in the case by chat and I was given a list of doors that should be open in my router ... I never opened a door but I already have an idea of how it
is then I went to my router> Port forwarding> 88 - Final Port: 88 and then had the Lan IP Address: I got the IP that shows in Xbox One and put the end there, I put the protocol right ... It is this curse of NAT remains strict and slow download TOO. I swear
that I am getting really outraged with this NAT and with this Network Statistics data because I have a 20 Megabytes internet at home and I have this problem of having to wait forever to download some game and still when I get disconnected of the group! #frustated

Print how is my router's port forwarding tab for you to see if I have done everything right:

    good afternoon

this is a problem of NAT of one of the networks, or both:

    What is NAT:

NAT is nothing more than a protocol that translates IP addresses and TCP ports from the local network to the Internet. In other words, the packet to be sent or received from your workstation on your local network goes to the server where your ip is exchanged for the ip of the server and the replacement of the ip of the local network validates the sending of the packet on the internet. When the package returns, the same thing happens, but in reverse. This ensures that the package reaches its destination.

    Why is NAT important?

Your NAT type, combined with the NAT type of other players, determines whether you can successfully use multiplayer games or group chats. The following tables illustrate the differences between NAT types. And based on your NAT type, who you can play multiplayer games with, and who you can listen to in a group chat.

    OPEN NAT

You can chat with other people, as well as host and participate in multiplayer games with people who have any type of NAT on the network.

    MODERATE NAT

You can chat and play multiplayer games with some people; however, you may not hear or play with others and will likely not be chosen to host a match.

    STRICT NAT

You can chat and participate in multiplayer games with people who have an OPEN NAT type. You cannot be chosen as a match host.

    NAT UNAVAILABLE

You will not be able to use group chat or connect to multiplayer games on some titles on Xbox Live.

to solve, you can try to open the service ports on your router, ask your provider for advice, or change your dns or ip.

"Required ports to use Xbox Live

These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)"

    good monring

The configuration that needs to be changed is from your provider, they use a security device for the network that prevents access to microsoft servers, unfortunately I believe it's just changing providers. It is very likely that the problem is NAT.

You will not be able to use group chat or connect to multiplayer games on some titles on Xbox Live.

you can try to open the ports on your router, but that probably won't do the trick.

see what the ports are and ask for help from the provider to open.

    Xbox One X Connection issues

Go to your Xbox network settings. What does your "NAT Type" show?

Also try running the tests on the right side of the screen (Test network connection, Test multiplayer connection, Test NAT Type, Detailed network statistics), and see if those tests show any problems with your network.
My network is not the problem. I run multiple devices on it 24/7 Including an older Xbox One Halo 5 Edition. Nat is open 0% Packet Loss (confirmed thru Both Xboxes and CMD on PC.) Latency is ~50. Multiplayer Connection test on the problem box interrupts
itself frequently. I'm positive at this point it's a Hardware issue.
