    Additional Network Ports for Multiplayer Gaming: How do I make it not disconnect from a party
    Do you have more than 1 Xbox connected to your local LAN, I had this issue with mine, and had to clear the mac address and set an alternative port on all Xbox's on that LAN, also enabling UPNP on the router helped a lot as well.

    I keep getting disconnected from xbox live every 5 to 10 minutes and then I get reconnected within a couple of seconds, how do I stop this?

    Hey there, FlashyMarwan

    This depends on your network settings and your connection to Xbox Live. The first thing I would do is check your network connection and network settings by going to Settings > Network > Test Xbox Connection.

    This tests your connection to Xbox Live and tries to resolve any connection problems you may be having.

    have you got your profile on any other form of Xbox I'd you do delete it straight away and then it will stop because no one will be able to sign in on it

    have you tried clearing your alternate mac? as this can solve a lot of issues with disconnection. you could also do a factory reset, I know its the last thing anyone wants to hear but if its the last resort it needs to be done.
