    I Bought Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 But it says i need xbox live gold i have some but now it says i need to check my settings help

    ok so i have been having a problem with xbox live gold ok, so i bought a 12 month gold membership and it wont let me get online with others it still says my friends list and who is on and i can talk to them but when i go on to black ops 2 and go to multiplayer
    it says this account is not aloud to play online games. and i did go and change the settings but it DOESNT say "online play" ANYWHERE IN THE SETTINGS and it worked before i mean i was a level 42 prestige 2 ONLINE and it just wont work anymore i tried EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
