run a speed test of your internet connection from a home computer or anything that may be wired to the router, this will then determine if the issue is with the Xbox or your service provider. but what your explaining looks to be an issue with your external
connection, have you tried restarting your router also.

  5. Same thing for me except i have gigabit speed at my house. Every device gets 200+mps except my brand new xbox one s that gets 10. After doing my research and many hours of silence from the xbox support on the phone being no help I've found xbox has had this
problem for years. My conclusion is I will take this xbox back and get a playstation, that also according to my research has never had this problem.

My xbox is also connected with the ethernet cable. but since maybe a few weeks my xbox is having trouble to connect to xbox live at the beginning. its really weird. everything else is absolutely fine but not my xbox. sometimes it takes a minute and its connected,
sometimes i have to pull the cable and re put it back and it works. sometimes i need to to connect to xbox live via wireless and it works, sometimes with or without the ethernet cable. once connected its almost flawless. 30mb/s.

i started to fear to start my xbox since it has problem there. seems like i shouldn't never put down the xbox.? but at the end i was always able to connect to xbox live. not today. i tried the whole day to connect to xbox live but it doesnt work. thats really
frustrating since i use a genexis live -44.

maybe it got something to do with the IPv4 to IPv6? xbox one s of mine is a bitch today. please microsoft FIX

  7. I have been having the same problem. Checked my speed a few months ago, and it was showing 49Mbps. now it's is only at 4.23Mbps. It was even lower last week at 2.1Mbps, and I reset the Xbox one and it went up to 4.23. I just upgraded
my speed from 150Mbps to 300Mbps and it still doesn't make a difference on the Xbox, but everything else is faster. I am just as lost as you are?

Xbox Live Claims to be Up and Down

Have you tried running the "Test multiplayer connection" option on the same Network page?

That will run some additional tests which verify that you can connect to services enough to access Xbox Live and run multiplayer games. Running that may give you some additional information.

    Port Forwarding to Xbox Live

Ports required to use Xbox Live

These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:

    • Port 88 (UDP)
    • Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 80 (TCP)
    • Port 500 (UDP)
    • Port 3544 (UDP)
    • Port 4500 (UDP)
Note Some game developers require you to open additional ports. You should always check the game developer's website to see if the game you're playing needs additional ports to work. We've gathered some ports you might need
and have added them to the
Additional Network Ports for Multiplayer Gaming
    forum.

If you're connected to a network through your workplace or school, ask the network administrator to open these ports.

If you receive a NAT warning when you connect to Xbox Live, see the

Trying to Fix Xbox Live Multiplayer settings on Pc

    HI,

Have you tried the following at
    https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/connect-network/network-ports-used-xbox-live

Network ports used by Xbox Live on Xbox One

A network port lets your Xbox One console communicate with the Xbox Live servers and other Xbox One consoles over the internet.
To let your Xbox One console communicate with Xbox Live, you might need to open or forward ports, which means you'll be making a configuration change to your firewall or network hardware, such as a router. Port forwarding for Xbox One is done on
your router or other network hardware, not on the Xbox console itself.

These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:

    • Port 88 (UDP)
    • Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 80 (TCP)
    • Port 500 (UDP)
    • Port 3544 (UDP)
    • Port 4500 (UDP)

Note Some game developers require you to open additional ports. You should always check the game developer's website to see if the game you're playing needs additional ports to work.

You can also find information about opening ports on your router at the
Port Forward website. This website lists commonly used ports for various apps and games, but if your router isn't listed or you need more help, contact your internet service provider
    or router manufacturer.

If you're connected to a network through your workplace or school, ask the network administrator to open these ports.

If you receive a NAT warning when you connect to Xbox Live, see the
    Xbox One Multiplayer Game Solution
    .
