adding payment method and Region Problem

Hello!!!!!

Need help with this.

When i try to add a new payment method it doesn`t let me change the region wich is stock at mexico, like unable to change it, my card isn`t from mexico and the chat doesn`t work for me.

Any help will be welcome.

Can't authorize payment option

Hey there Viperous! I understand you are having trouble authorizing a payment method on a purchase. Have you tried removing and adding the payment method again, or tried a different payment method entirely? Also, does your payment method information match
your account info (name, address, region, etc.)? Let us know, thanks!

 

Problem adding payment methods

So the only way is to have a credit card with a united states address right ?!!

To make sure, are you using the steps in our guide for
How To Update Your Microsoft Account Region? If so, can you clarify in more detail on what happens when you try those steps?

Also, do you have a reference number for any of the conversations you had with our chat team?

 

The region of your account and the region of your credit card need to be the same. However, there are a few regions in Mexico that are not available for selection within the Xbox. I forget which one but there are a few and you won't be able to add your card
and you'll need to see about adding currency to your account instead to make purchases.
