    This issue, brand new xbox one series x.

    kids were playing their accounts last night, but tonight, same issue, told to log onto microsoft account as asked, and did so, no help there.

    Saw the advice to remove the accounts. did so, went to re add them, but same problem existed.

    in the above thread some people said they fixed the problem, but didnt mention how they fixed the problem.

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

    Looking at that thread you have linked, they are getting a message telling them to log in at https://account.live.com which should lead you to this page: Microsoft account | Home which is your Microsoft account overview page.

    It looks as though the account has been locked. Thus, going to Microsoft account | Home and signing into the account via a web browser should provide you with instructions on what to do to unlock the account (providing it has been locked).

    If that doesn't work, please can you tell me the exact error message they get when they try and sign onto their account on the Xbox console?

    Do you have already 6 accounts on it? 6 is permitted per household. Describe us in detail what is happening, so that we can provide you with the best help.

    Ok, no worries. It could be that they are missing something on their accounts, which is why it is asking you to sign into the account. If they have signed up to Xbox using a Gmail account, then they would sign in using the Gmail address.

    their account, no, i thought i was logging into my microsoft account.

    They dont have microsoft accounts, they use gmail to log in to

    but now im to tired to do this, ill have to look in the morning.
