    Adding my profile


    My Xbox was acting really glitchy and wouldn’t let me play some of my games so I tried restarting it and it didn’t help so I hard reset my Xbox series s and now that it’s back on it won’t let me add my account. When I press add account it goes to a loading screen then goes away after a bit not letting me even attempt to add my account. I’ve tried restarting my console and unplugging it for ten seconds and plugging it back in and also creating more space on my Xbox by deleting games but nothing seems to be working. I have good internet connection and the Xbox status seems to be fine so I don’t know what to do from here.

    Connect your console to your phone's hotspot and try to do it again. If that doesn't help I'll recommend you reset the console again keeping games and apps. Apologies for the inconvenience.

    The Code 0x80073cf6 Does exist but has not been encountered by many players and has not been reported.

    As for your Xbox not adding your profile what i recommend you telling us what your network details are so we can forward our assistance

    Settings - Network - Detailed Network Statistics

    Copy What you see when it's done. Such as the Download Speed, Upload Speed, Packet Loss, Latency and Wireless Strength.

    Because they were my childrens profiles so they were not online. The XB1 only supports online profiles and guest accounts to your main profile. My daughter likes to dress up her avatar and certain games allow for her to appear in games so the guest account
    wouldn't be suited for that.....In other words new profile new email new password for every profile. Simply ridiculous.

    Hi there, unfortunately no, to create an account so that they can play online needs to have an email address for security purposes, no one can see this email so it's not like they would get unsolicited emails from other users, but you can save the email
    and password to the console so your child doesn't know those details as well as changing their security settings for what content they can see online, who can interact with them etc.
