    Hey Xbox support,

    I don't know how successful the backward compatible store has been for the company. I feel like it's the lost generation of 360s players who can't enjoy some of the newer stuff that's out there. IV personally bought about 50% of my games from the backward store and most of the time, enjoy them more. But one game that I have always thought of that got overlooked a lot was the game, The Godfather. Based on the movie. Very fun game, like a 1950s GTA. I really think with a little advertisement l, that game will kickoff again. I still remember playing it to this day.

    The backwards compatibility program ended in 2021. Anything that was not made compatible by then, won't be.

    When will another batch of older games become compatible for new and or newer Xbox systems?

    The backwards compatibility program ended a while ago so no more games will be added to the list.

    That is because the game is not backwards compatible yet. You will not be able to download and play Dark Souls until it has been added to the Backwards Compatibility list.
