adding an xbox1s to existing Microsoft live account

We already have an x box with xbox live account, I would like to add a separate xbox1s to my live account. I have registered the xbox 1s on my account but cant link it. How do I like it without having to restore it to factory settings? My little boy has
brought it back from his dads and doesn't want to loose his progress?

Hi thank you so much for replying, the xbox 1s never had an xbox live account attached to it. Can I run two xbox's under one live account or do they need separate subscriptions?

Hi there,

any game progress is linked to the account that was used, so if a Xbox Live Account was used on the Xbox1s console the progress will be linked to that account, if that account/console was also connected to Xbox Live that progress should also be saved on
Xbox Live, which means that that same account can be used on any console with the known progress, as long as one knows the account credentials.

I'm not sure this answers the question, if not then please specify more information on what the goal is.

You cannot transfer an Xbox profile to another Microsoft account, it is permanently linked to the Microsoft account it was created for.

Additionally, you can't add an existing Outlook email to another Microsoft account. As stated on the Microsoft Support website: https://support.microsoft.com/office/459b1989-356d-40fa-a689-8f285b13f1f2

"Existing Hotmail, Live, Outlook.com, and MSN addresses can't be added as aliases, and you can't add an alias that is already associated with another Microsoft account."

In this case, your options are creating a new Outlook email for the Microsoft account linked to your Xbox profile, or adding an existing email from another service such as Gmail.

When you buy Xbox LIVE Gold, either an individual or a Family Pack subscription online, the subscription is added to your existing Microsoft Account. Since accounts are specific to the country you use them in, make sure to buy
the account for that country.

Also for a little more info on the prize. Nowhere does it stipulate that you cannot use the One Month Code with an existing Microsoft Account Which already has Gold. When looking at the xbox.com/usagerules , No where does it state that a "Xbox LIVE Prepaid
1 month Gold Membership Card." cannot be added to an existing gold account.
