    Adding an online Xbox membership timing out


    Hi All,

    I'm trying to accept Adding an online Xbox membership to your Microsoft account lets you participate in great Xbox gaming and entertainment, "Clicking 'I Accept' means you have read and agree to the
    Microsoft Services Agreement and
    Privacy Statement."

    However this is timing out all the time. Any suggestion would be good.

    timing out

    so I play smite and I'm having an issue where I keep timing out for a few seconds and then I'm sent to the main screen. Now for anyone who doesn't play this game when you're picking a character and it does that you get a deserter penalty. I'm currently ban
    for 1 hour right now because this has happened twice. Most things I've read stated I need to make a static ip and port forward. I have Comcast and it uses ivp4 and 6 and the tutorials do not show anything on how to make the static ip with this or I'm just
    stupid. I'm hoping I can find someone to help me with this I really am sick of not being able to play the game because of these small time outs.

    i promoted my xbox family pack child account into an adult account and now its says i have a silver membership.

    If you promote yourself out of a Family Pack you no longer have a Gold subscription. The Family Pack does, which you are not part of. You do not take an subscription time when promoted out, even if your account had subscription time before you were added.

    In order to play online, you'll need to be added back to the Family Pack (which has a five day wait time unless you get an exception from Xbox support), or buy a separate membership.

    That's not the problem. I can't even join Live, never mind add a Gold membership. I did try adding the Gold membership on the Xbox as well as joining Live on the Xbox but they both produce the same error. When I signed onto Xbox.com with the idea of using
    my card online, it automatically created this account (I didn't sign up or anything). But this account doesn't show up as linked on the Xbox nor does it show my achievements online. So I feel like adding a Gold membership online would be a quick way to lose
    30 dollars thanks to whatever error is occurring.
