Adding accounts to account family

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are getting an error message when you try to add a family member to your account's family. Are you attempting to add a family member on an Xbox One, a Windows 10 computer or a mobile device?

That's correct as they are child accounts and you mentioned they haven't been added to the family, in the account that manage to enter the privacy settings leave the current family even if there no one else in that family, after this log out of the family site and restart the browser

Once done with that create the family again, with that account being the organizer, and add the child accounts, remember that child accounts can't be organizer they must be added as childs, and check each account on the family site prior to this to verify that they aren't linked to other families

It sounds like your account has been added to the FAMILY as a child account.

The best thing to do would be to log into your Account on the website and check the FAMILY status.

A Child account is not controlled by age in the FAMILY, but if it has been added as a child or adult account.

If you can find another account that has been set up as an adult on that account you could leave and ask them to re-invite you as a adult into the Family.

2. Are you adding them from the family center section of the console?
3. Have you made sure to add the account to your console before adding to your family plan?
