Adding a three month code to existing account

Hello All,

I recently purchased an Xbox series X and it came bundled with a game code for three months of game pass ultimate.

If I already have a game pass ultimate account, can I still use the code for a free 3 months? In other words, if I've already paid for a year membership, will my code give me 15 months before I'm billed again?

Yes, you can add the code to your existing subscription. You can stack up to 36 months of time that way.

There is no code in the package.

The first three Live accounts created via any 360 console (I think. Could just be ones with a HDD) receive a free month of Gold. That's the free membership the sticker/advertisement is referring to.

You cannot apply the free month to an existing Gold account.

Also for a little more info on the prize. Nowhere does it stipulate that you cannot use the One Month Code with an existing Microsoft Account Which already has Gold. When looking at the xbox.com/usagerules , No where does it state that a "Xbox LIVE Prepaid
1 month Gold Membership Card." cannot be added to an existing gold account.

Adding a pre-paid card to an existing gold account will add the time to the end of the existing subscription. For example, if your account was paid up through January 23, 2016 and you add a 12 month card to your account, your gold will now expire on January
23, 2017. You can verify that by logging in at
http://account.xbox.com - the subscription end dates will be listed there. You can stack up to 36 months (three years) in this manner.

You only get the free month when creating a new account on the console (for three new accounts), it can't be applied to an existing account.
