Adding a payment method issue

Whenever i go to add my payment method it tells me that ive requested too many codes and to try again later. The numbers on the card were wore out so i entered the info wrong enough times but i have the info now but it wont let me add it still. Is there
any way to fix this?

XOne "Use a different way to pay" problem

Go to billing.Microsoft.com, pull up your account, remove you payment methods, then re-ad your payment methods.

Adding a payment method

I keep trying to add a payment method to my account, I got a error saying my account was suspended for not having a valid credit card on the account ( that expired today ). And I was trying to add a paypal or a credit card to the account and It didn't work
at all. I keep getting the 40001 error on paypal, and when I try to add a credit card I get the "An error occurred. Please try again later." I also tried on my xbox and it didn't work. And I tried on a different account on the computer and it worked
fine, what is wrong?

Have you tried adding the payment method on the link I shared? Where are you trying to add the payment method, where was the card issued?

Hey,

First off, that 1$ was never taken from your creditcard. It's a purchase test to see if your creditcard is good to go. The money never leaves your bank, it just gets into a 'locked stage' for a maximum of 72 hrs (Up to the bank).

I'd say try to add the creditcard through the console instead, it is required that you have your full billing address entered etc. Good luck!

It seems like your account has a billing lock or violation. Try visiting
here and then you may need to contact support via phone and speak with them.
