    I have been trying to add another adult account to a family on xbox and even after clicking “add to family” and the account, it registers, but does not add the account to the family

    The person you have added to the group needs to accept the invitation, they will receive an email to accept and join the family group. You can add a member or organizer to the family group in a browser also through this link.

    This is becoming pathetic, now when attempting to open Xbox Profile or Xbox Settings, "We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found. The URL may be misspelled or the page you're looking for is no longer available."

    I've turned off 2FA.

    [user] needs to sign in again on Windows (XBOX) to verify their account. Done this multiple times, it does not work.

    [user] needs to sign in again on Windows (ACER) to verify their account. Fix It brings up the login but does not fix it.

    How do we get a Microsoft Xbox representative to attend and resolve this nonsense?

    Sorry to hear it. If you have 2fa turned on then I would like to recommend trying to turn it off before verifying. If that still does not work then I'd recommend adding the payment method at https://account.microsoft.com and setting up the family using the Xbox Family app
