Add texture pack to Child Account

I bought a retail disc of minecraft for my son, who I signed up for a child's Microsoft account for the Xbox One. I would like to purchase some texture packs for him, but this doesn't seem possible in his account. I bought a couple of them on my account
through the Xbox Live website and they don't seem to show in either of our accounts on the Xbox. I also bought one on the Xbox under my account and it shows up, but I can't seem to get it to show under his child account. So how do I add texture packs to
his account?

Texture Pack Not Working on Minecraft Realm

This texture pack is on my child's account, I can PM you details if needed. Some other relevant information that may assist in a solution:

• The texture pack says "owned" in the Minecraft Store Page
• The realm is paid from that account
• The texture pack has worked on the Realm previously (until now), since the realm was started by the child account

Having checked the link you provided, I actually don't see the texture pack on either my or my child's account, that's odd, surely it has to be somewhere?

Changing live account to a child account

Hello There

You cannot demote an account to a child account but you can add it to a family pack and add certain restrictions if needed.

 

Have you downloaded it to the Xbox he is playing on? If you go into "My Games & Apps" section, you can look for 'Minecraft' and see all of the add-ons that are downloaded. If it is in there, it should be available for him/her to use. I'm not too familiar
with the restrictions of child accounts though, sorry.
