Add sprint by tapping forward twice for halo 5 on xbox one

or use the xbox accessories app to reassign it to a different button, or get a third party controller with rear programmable buttons, i did this and have the back 2 for run and jump.

to sprint quickly tap up the left joy stick twice and keep it forward. its like how some shooters do the sprinting

Sprinting is the same. Hold A to run, tap A to sprint. Sorry

In the PC version of the game in order to sprint you have to double tap the W key twice. And I've had no problems activating sprint either, instead of complaining about what button it is why not just practice it? It's actually a bit more effective than in
the PC version, you can hit blocks and corners and not have sprint turn off where as in the PC it'll instantly stop.
