    Hi.

    How do I invite friends using ps4 to play minecraft?

    My kids can play others in fortnite but there isnt an option in minecraft to add/find cross platform friends, only xbox.

    Where are we going wrong?!

    Friends who have our user name can see our profile and have added us as a friend but we cant see any invites or their profile...

    Hi, thanks for replying.

    We are definately using the correct version of minecraft on xbox one.

    The other ps4 user/player is logged in to microsoft and has added our gamertag which comes up with the correct avatar etc. But we cant see them / add them or join them. He has also sent invites to play but we haven't received anything.

    Would it be a setting issue?

    First of all you should not be a user of the beta version of minecraft since this version is only available on Windows, Android and Xbox. If this is not the case, PS4 users have to have an xbox account which they must start in the game.
    Once you and PS4 users are logged in to Xbox and have the same version in Minecraft, they will be able to view their games online in the "Friends" tab, regardless of platform.

    It could be, have you tried to see the NAT type? If it is not "Open", that could be what restricts it.
