    Add option for external drive filter in manage games


    If you have more than one external drive as I do, and have one for main storage and one set up for games that are played frequently as well, then the default storage is always the main drive. I currently have rock band on my SSD, but my main is a HDD. Due to the large amount of DLC I have to scroll many multiple times to get to the main storage drive to move any additional purchased DLC to the SSD. It would make it much easier to have a filter or just option to choose between drives while in the game management screen for each specific game. There is already one for the games and apps menus but not for each specific game within the games.

    if you mean digital games from the store then yes you just plug in your external drive then goto manage game and add ons and choose to copy or move to the external drive etc.

    Um, the screen seems to indicate that you dont have any games installed?

    Do you have an external drive? Are your games installed on internal drive?

    Are you filtering out games on external/internal?

    The little upside down triangle icon(almost looks like a coat hanger) towards the right of the screen, if you click that, it should give you the option to show All, external or internal... what option do you have it set at?

    Plug the external hard drive into a USB port on the XBOX. The USB drive needs to be at least USB 3.0 and 256GB or larger. Go into the system settings and storage, locate the drive, run a quick format on it. Once that is done you can set that drive as
    the default install option for your games. Any current games on the internal storage can be migrated over by going to that game choose the manage game option and migrate to the external drive if you like.

    sorry for your ongoing trouble. When you check on COD in your games by pressing the menu button - then scroll down to Manage game & add-ons where does the game show up? On you internal drive and/or your external drive? if there is Saved data where is it
    allocated? Internal or external drive?

    The external hard drive could be having a hardware issue. I would suggest picking a game you are having trouble with and via the manage game option migrate it to the internal disk. As another option you could de-install the game and then re-download
    it to the internal drive.
