Add-On (resource pack) doesn't work in Minecraft Realms

I'm playing Minecraft PE on Windows10.

I've done the following:

1 - Create a resource pack add-on (modified the creeper resource and texture using BlockBench ... zipped it up and renamed to .mcpack ... placed the .mcpack file in the correct location based on Windows10 instructions here: Add-Ons for Minecraft)

2 - Create a New World (Creative ... "Require players to accept resource packs to join") and applied the resource pack.

3 - Played the new world. The creepers were all red and had 3 heads (which is what I changed in BlockBench)

4 - In Minecraft PE for Windows10, I went to edit my Realm. I then clicked "Replace World" and replaced my Realm world with the one I just created (using these instructions "How do I use Add-Ons on Realms" - Add-Ons for Minecraft FAQ ).

5 - When I try to play my Realm (from Windows10 or from iPad), the creepers all look normal. It's not downloading (or applying) my resource pack.

What am I doing wrong?

Texture Pack Not Working on Minecraft Realm

Hello,

I'm having a peculiar issue with a very specific texture pack, ChromaHills, not working when it's on the Realm; the texture pack works fine with a Local copy of the world. If you have the ChromaHills texture pack set as a requirement for your world and even
if you have the ChromaHills texture pack set globally, when you try to join that world on Realms, the Realm reverts back to the default Minecraft texture.

Any assistance to help resolve this would be greatly appreciated since my world is designed using the ChromaHills texture pack.

Paul from the Xbox Forums here to assist with the issue, in regards to the Minecraft Realms Resource pack not being reflected onto the game I would suggest making sure to be logged into the correct account on the Ipad as well as contact the Mojang help team.

I figured out the problem.

When creating a Minecraft resource pack, you have to create 2 new UUIDs and put them in the manifest.json file.
I did this but I used Visual Studio to create the UUIDs (by using the "Create GUID" tool). Visual Studio creates UUIDs with capital letters (ABCDEF). Minecraft wouldn't download/install the resource pack because of this. Everything worked fine once
I used a different tool to create the UUIDs - a tool that uses lower case letters (abcdef): Online UUID Generator Tool

If you're having trouble accepting invites or joining Realms, be sure that you are not using a modded game client, and are not using a resource pack that does not contain textures for the Realm buttons. If you are, switch to the standard Minecraft
game client, click Options, click Resource Packs, then return to the default.

The red dot next to your Minecraft Realm and the error message about downloading packs indicate issues with the resource packs or server settings.

Please be guided with the following troubleshooting steps:

Make sure that all the texture packs and add-ons you're using are compatible with the current version of Minecraft because an outdated or corrupted packs can cause errors.

And then re-upload the resource packs. Kindly remove the current resource packs from the Realm and re-upload them. Ensure to back up everything before removing it. This can help if the files were corrupted during the initial upload.

Next is to reduce the number of resource packs. If you have multiple resource packs, try reducing the number of packs to see if that resolves the issue because having too many packs can cause download errors.

Then check Internet Connection by making sure that both you and your members have a stable internet connection. Indeed a weak connection can interrupt the download process.

After that is to restart the Realm. Close and reopen the Realm for this can refresh the server and resolve minor glitches.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly clear cache on devices. Please ask your members to clear the cache on their devices. This can help resolve issues with downloading packs.
