    Add On DLC Installed, Missing In Game


    Our household has purchased the Destiny 2 Lightfall Deluxe DLC. On the home Xbox I can go to Destiny 2 > Manage Game and install the new DLC. The DLC successfully installs. When Destiny 2 is launched, it does not recognize the Add on DLC as being installed.

    I’ve tried clearing the “reserved space” for Destiny 2. Resetting the MAC address and prompting a restart. Uninstalling the DLC Add ons and reinstalling. And have tried a hard reset by holding the Xbox button in for 15 seconds. None of these have worked. Is there a way to get this DLC that is purchased and downloaded to show up and become recognized in game?

    Please be informed that some DLCs or add-ons require a certain level to show up. Based on the article below it says "Accessing add-ons might require you to progress to a certain point in a game. For example, Destiny 2: Forsaken uses game levels to gate the use of certain expansion packs. In Forza Horizon 3, you must drive to a specific location to start using the Hot Wheels expansion pack."

    Moreover, when I load up the game, head into Options and I find "Game Installs" under General settings, it throws error "The store is currently unavailable."

    Hard to say what the specific difference is between the two; however, if you
    check add-on content for the game    , do you see the DLC listed as available to install there? What specific DLC appears to be missing?

    DLC Problems

    Is it the DLC or the actual game that is missing. If it is just the DLC, I would suggest re-installing the game. Check if the DLC is lsited as already purchased in the store as well. If it is then it should be in your ready to install list.
