Adaptive Xbox controller and joystick

So, I recently purchased the adaptive Xbox controller with the Logitech Extreme Pro 3D joystick. I thought it was plug 'n play functionality. Except that it's not. In short, does anyone have experience with this combination of equipment? Is this something
I fix through the accessibility app? I'm aware that the adaptive controller is still new, but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

XBox Adaptive Controllor with Logitech 3D Pro Joystick setup

The Logitech 3D Pro Joystick was one of the recommended joysticks for use on the adaptive controller; the joystick works, although the buttons around or on the joystick unit are not currently supported.

The Adaptive Xbox controller is supported but the Logitech Extreme Pro 3D Joystick is not, and the supported joysticks and accessories are located on this page:

You can customize the adaptive controller through the Xbox Accessories App with supported accessories.

Logitech Extreme Pro 3D Joystick is actually one of the recommended joystick or accessory for the Xbox adaptive controller. However, we can only use the Joystick and not the buttons and thumbstick, for now.

I would suggest cheking the accessories app on your XOne console for more instrucions on how to use the adaptive controller.

 

Exactly! I did manage to map the joystick to directional movement using the Xbox accessories app. It is irksome that the controller is not plug and play. And that the buttons and thumbstick are not operational. I had imagined being able to play games with
just the joystick and adaptive controller. Alas, it is not to be. One hopes they increase/expand compatibility ASAP.

 

having the same issue, this controller is not working out, the default button mapping for the extreme 3d pro is stupid and there is no way to remap the buttons. its infuriating !!!!
