Actual 0x800701E7 help please (Xbox One)

Over the last few days i've been getting the 0x800701E7 'oops somthing went wrong to continue your download cancel it and try again' pop up when i try to start games. For the record THIS HAS NOTHING, NOTHING TO DO WITH A SYSTEM UPDATE! I did all the trouble
shoot BS and my console says its up to date with no error code, this problem also didn't start when a system update happened.

So this started happening will fallout 4 first which i assumed was a problem with the game since i wasn't updating or downloading anything for it at the time, it just kicked me out of game and started with the 0x800701E7 pop up. So after a few days monitoring
the bethesda fallout 4 bug forum and only seeing reports saying both Microsoft and bethesda are saying its a problem on the other's end i decided to try some of my other games and found it happening to the 'Rare replay' game.

Its rather anoying at how useless xbox's support seems to be as i seached the error code in the forms and found 22 posts and only one reply repeating the same useless troubleshoot system update stuff, even tho one of the posts said it was useless after talking
with Microsoft 3 times.

So any ACTUAL help would be appreciated as this is obviously a Microsoft issue and has rendered some of my games 100% unplayable.

I just purchased Forza 7 and the install keeps stopping. I am getting error 0x800701e7. Please help.

 

Xbox Update Error

hello ive been having problems when i update my xbox one, i get 3 error codes
0x800701E7 0x00000000 0x90100006 , for further info please refer to my ticket code 1443991486

 

This is still an issue with games completely unplayable. Can it at least be acknowledged?

 

Can anyone help with this? its been over a week and xbox support is non existent, or at the very least they don't care unless your problem is 3 years old. Why does the support forum exist when there is NO SUPPORT!

This problem occurs when an update has not been completed. It can be a system or game update. Try to clear the cache by holding down the power button for 10 secs and then check if an update is available or check that your game works.

You could soft-reset your Xbox by following these steps: Reset Xbox One Console to Factory Defaults. Just make sure that when you're asked "Reset your console?" choose the second option (Reset and keep my games and

factory reset has not solved anything but erase all of my saved data for no reason, anymore 'helpful' advice?

 

Hopefully you all got it figured out by now. I was just having this same problem myself. Couldn't count how many times it failed. I'm not in a position to easily hardwire at the moment (redoing the house but normally stay hardwired and will be again)
but on a whim decided to bypass the router altogether and use the hotspot on my phone during the update and it worked. So figured I'd share since I found this posting when I was looking for solutions. Guess I'm going to look for a new router now...

 

Sorry in my case it was a system update not a bethesda one but same error so maybe similar reason for failure.
