Discus and support Acronis True Image 2021 conflict with Xbox PC game pass slow game launch reason found in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I purchased the PC game pass for Windows 11 which uses the Xbox app. Some games took 1 to 2 minutes for the game to launch.     I purchased the PC game pass for Windows 11 which uses the Xbox app. Some games took 1 to 2 minutes for the game to launch. Task Manager shows nothing. I found the problem was ACRONIS TRUE IMAGE 2021. I had "system protection" turned off in settings of Acronis as it would flag everything as dangerous so I didn't think it was Acronis.

    After getting frustrated with slow starting games I started digging. I had task manager on my second screen and started a game and notice Acronis CPU usage spiked upon launching game. So I just "uninstalled" it completely.

    NOW EVERYTHING WORKS. I really thought the xbox app was just crappy working with DRM in games or something. I have 12 games installed and all took forever to load. Now they work as intended. Also I should add I have a BRAND NEW GAMING PC with 12 gen i7 CPU and Geforce RTX 3070 so it isn't to do with being an older system with limited resources.

    I have no solution at this stage apart from uninstalling Acronis. NOTE I had turned off system protection so there are no other settings in the software to disable so I don't know a fix if you want to continue using Acronisother than stopping it launching background tasks at start-up which there are several.

    I will contact Acronis and let them know too.

    I WANTED TO SAVE OTHERS THE PAIN I HAVE BEEN HAVING SINCE BUYING PC GAME PASS. Hope it helps someone else and lets Xbox support know of this conflict.

    0x80070199 After restoring Forza Motorsport 7 Acronis True Image Backup?

    It's fixed. Just had to change the owner of D:\WindowsApps to TrustedInstaller & it installed the game from my recovered Acronis True Image backup. I hope this helps others in the future.

    Getting error code 0x80070422 while trying to install some games on PC (beta) App.

    I'm having the same issue now. At first games would not launch at all. After some troubleshooting I decided to uninstall and reinstall the games, but I get error 0x80070422 when I try to install any games now.

    I have tried:

    1. Running the Windows Update Troubleshooter. Unable to find problems.
    2. Ran DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth. No issues found.
    3. Ran sfc /scannow. No issues found.
    4. Rebooted several times.
    5. Reinstalled Xbox Game pass for PC.
