Acquiring series X before the launch of halo infinite

I have been an active Xbox member for a little over eight years and have had nothing to complain about. Unfortunately I’m running into issues a lot of people are having when it comes to obtaining the next generation of console. I understand that the supply is limited due to the current world situation. The biggest concern I have is with the upcoming holiday 2021 release of halo infinite. I have been a halo fan for years playing the original series on the original Xbox. I am worried I will not be able to obtain the newest generation of console before the upcoming release and I know that it’ll more than likely be playable on the current generation I have. Only problem is looking at how cyberpunk 2077 performed on later GEN consoles I’m not too optimistic. Now there’s a question I keep coming back to. Is there anyway for Microsoft to be able to ensure that long time fans and lovers of the series will be able to enjoy the franchise they love and grew up on at full power like the developers intended? Of course things can change and maybe in a couple months from now the shelves will be fully stocked. I love the Halo series to death but there is no way I can justify spending $1000 to purchase through a scalper let alone expect any other like minded fan to do the same. In closing I just like to say that I hope every gamer has a chance to purchase the console in time to experience whatever game series they’re passionate about.
