    Achievements


    I have been playing Mass Effect Anddomeda offline for the past 3 months as I have had no internet connection. I've put 70+ hours into the game but unlocked 0 achievements. I understand that when the console is offline no achievements will unlock but any
    achievements you have met the requirements for will be 'stored' on the console and will unlock when the console is back online. My console is now connected to the Internet but the achievements I should have unlocked whilst offline are still locked. How do
    I get the achievements to unlock?

    I have spoken to Microsoft support who suggested to power cycle my console and reset my router settings. I done this but it didn't fix anything.

    They then suggested that I ask my question on the Xbox forums.

    Achievements

    When power-cycling did you completely disconnect the power for a period of time?

    With you console now connected to the internet, have you confirmed under the network settings that it is online?

    Thank you for your reply.

    When power-cycling I turned off the console, unplugged all of the wires from my console for about 20 seconds then plugged them all back in then turned the console back on.

    My console is definitely online now as I've been in Xbox Live parties, played games online, etc.

    Hi!

    power cycling can be 5-10 minutes and you should unplug ALL wires from your router.

    Can i ask a really silly question... have you got the internet plugged into the correct port on the router? the LAN one is for ethernet inside your house, the Broadband one is for, well broadband. Reason i ask is because i had these the wrong way round for
    days before i realised. was connected to internet but had massive problems.

    The achievements should have updated as soon as you went online.

    I have read this works for some people. Set your Xbox to offline; hard shutdown, wait 10 -15 minutes, turning Xbox on, set Xbox to online, sign back in, then launch the game in question.

    If I am honest I had trouble unlocking some of the achievements on a few games recently, including Andromeda. I would complete the requirements but the game and xbox did not seem to recognise it.

    Solution 2: Check your achievement progress online

    You can check the progress of your achievement online to verify that your console has synchronised with Xbox Live.

    To view your achievements online:

    1.Sign in at xbox.com and select Achievements.

    2.Select the title of the achievement you're trying to unlock.

    3.If the achievement appears under “Achievements,” it's already unlocked.

    If the achievement appears under “Locked Achievements,” either the console isn't yet synchronised with Xbox Live or the achievement was not successfully unlocked.

    New achieves a bit... buggy?

    The new achievements are only achievable on the maps that are in the description. The three new achievements with Defiant in the description are only achievable on Defiant maps and any with Anniversary in the description are only achievable on the new maps.

    achievement won't unlock

    Completing the game doesn't mean that you've achieved all the achievements. Go to the achievements list for that game and filter by `Unlocked` to see which achievement is pending.

    whats the point off zero point achievements

    Users who got the Xbox 1 Day 1 Achievement and I also got a YouTube Achievement. But getting 0G for those achievements is kind of ???. Xbox 360 never gave me achievements with 0G it was at least 5G for all achievements. Some achievements unlock special avatar
    awards (on 360).
