Achievements taking days to synch?

Yes,

My Achievements for December 2023 are unlocking and my gamerscore is increasing yet my December gamerscore leaderboard still shows me at +0 for this month.

It should state +1250. Not sure why those two things aren’t syncing up.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

This issue was reported to be resolved couple of days ago. Kindly try power cycle to see if your leaderboard will show the correct achievements. If not, please send feedback to Team Xbox so they can investigate the issue.

To power cycle console:

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
   
2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
   Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
   
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
   
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

That does sound like a glitch, yes. Sometimes it just takes some time for the achievements to synch up between the different devices.

Your offline achievements are stored in the cache. Clearing the system cache WILL DELETE OFFLINE ACHIEVEMENTS. They are vulnerable until you synch (signed in and connected to LIVE). If you download your profile before synching, it will overwrite the achievement
data.
