Achievements server issue?

    Achievements server issue?


    Like most people here, I've haven't gotten all the achievements that I was supposed to and it seems quite random which ones you get. I've missed out on 343 Guilty Spark and The Library even though I got the campaign completed-achievement. For Halo 2, I did
    get the achievements for every level, but not the campaign completed-achievement.

    I don't really know how unlocking the achievements work, if it connects to some server for that or if it's done locally. Sometimes my achievements-list won't even load. If I open the achievments list, the window will appear on the right side of the screen,
    but that loading icon will just keep spinning. I have to hit the achievements button again until it appears. This hasn't been a problem with any other games, so maybe those moments where you don't get a certain achievement is because the game loses contact
    with a server.

    I guess I won't be getting those achievements retroactively, it's been more than a week since they were supposed to unlock.

    Some MCC achievements not unlocking

    achievements on the one are server based, halo mcc is currently having server problems so some achievements wont pop up for hours or days.
    same thing happened to destiny and bf4.

    Having problems with my Gamerscore

    It appears that this Gen achievements are server side now so if the achievement server goes down some wont pop right away or your score will be wrong. Wait a couple days and it usually fixes itself

    Thanks for the reply! I just wanted to make sure it was a server issue not a game issue, because i've heard some people were having the same issue for this achievement and had to start over for the achievement to come up.

    Try giving it at least a day or two for the achievements to unlock. That can happen if there are issues with the xbox servers.

    It`s probably some server issues causing it. I really hate that achievements can`t be be unlocked while playing offline because they are tied to servers on Xbox One. Offline achievements are a highly requested feature on their feedback website, but Microsoft

    HitPoint. Reach out to them to see if they are will to give an update to the game to remove these achievements from the servers.

    I will say there's not any end-user side solution as it's merely server side and that's why Miss diggz need to reply the same way, however, as the issue is recognized, i believe MS tech guy should spot which server got issue and fix it ASAP and let us know.

    Some info worth to mention for this kind of issues.

    1. Server specific, it should affect some of users only

    2. Can unlock achievement offline at windows phone / 360 and the time stamp will keep once the server issue resolved (i.e. your win streak won't be affected at TA)

    3. For Xbox One, coz the achievement is bind to online system, when i unlocked one yesterday at Fifa 15 (no popup), it actually marked as done, but i need to unlocked it today when the server issue resolved and the achievement will count as today instead
    of yesterday

    4. Problem should be on server side so the suggested method to resolve the issue seems not work anyway
