Achievements not unlocking on certain games

I have had two games recently that will not unlock the achievements. Batman Arkham Origins and Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII. Between those two games, I played Diablo III Reaper of Souls and the achievements popped up. When I hit the guide button
and select achievements, I see the game but when selected, there is no list, just a blank screen where the achievement list should be.

I have cleared the cache, downloaded all updates (console and game), and in the case of Lightning Returns, installed the game to my hard drive. No dice. Does anyone have any ideas? I contacted Square Enix and they said it was an Xbox Live issue, but when
I started the game I was not connected to the internet. Warner Bros said to just clear the cache and they don't offer support for achievements.

I am playing on an original console. When I put the games into the newer consoles, the achievement list pops right up. This would make me think it's my console, but I have had no issues playing the games. Just getting the achievements.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Achievements are not unlocking.

I am currently playing all 3 of the gears of war games but I when I do what is needed to unlock an achievement, it does not unlock. I am trying to get the Chrome Camo's on gears of war 3 by unlocking certain achievements on the other 2 gears of war games.

I forgot to add this part. When trying to log into both games on Xbox Live, I get the message 'Your connection to Xbox Live has been lost. Please sign in again.' It will never connect or sign in, but when I exit the game it instantly connects to the Xbox

Didn't they use to do that? Every game had an "unlocked all the achievements" achievement and sometimes that led to cool stuff or maybe an avatar item. Hell even now unlocking certain achievements should be able to unlock avatar items.

For me if an achievement isn't tracking right or not unlocking. I just forget about it and sooner or later iit will unlock. I had one achievement unlock a week or so later. I beat a certain sttory mission, nothing unlocked. Came back to the game a
week or so and as soon as the game launched so did the achievement.

You already get reward points for unlocking achievements, You get 50 reward points a day for unlocking an achievement. You also unlock reward points for unlocking achievements in game pass games if you have game pass, as well as playing game pass games, and PC games from the Microsoft Store too. You can also unlock points by doing certain activities in games as well.

it is a freebie, but just for your friend. it's a glitch. for some unknown reason the game thought he completed that task and unlocked the achievement. you get it in a few games. i know for a fact if you die in a certain way in assassins creed (1) then it
unlocks an achievement.

Edit: by unlocking an achievement i mean like collect 100 flags achievement not an achievement for jumping off a clif.
