Achievements not in the correct language

    Achievements not in the correct language


    So, I have question about achievements language.

    I've got the GoW4 Special Edition XBox One S 2Tb, and Have downloaded and installed the game already. Also installed Halo: Reach (from a disc) and The Escapists (Games With Gold, so, digital).

    Every app (Youtube, etc.) I have has its achievements in English, like I want, but the GoW4 doesn't. It has them in Portuguese. I'm in Portugal, but wanted to run my XBox in English, because I prefer it that way, translations sometimes are really "bad" or
    "weird", and sometimes they are in Brazilian(PT-BR), not even Portuguese (PT-PT), which makes it worse.

    To make up for that, I have set my system's language to English and the language zone to the UK, keeping my system location to Portugal, since I'm still living here.

    The question is, why do GoW4's achievements come in Portuguese, when everything else is in English?

    Issue viewing game achievements in correct language

    Try clearing the System cache. Also, delete your profile(profile only) and then re-download it.

    I really hope the dev team address this issue in next update. Everything was fine before the latest update. Achievement listing was always consistent with console's language setting. Even if you messed up, you could always correct it by downloading your
    profile with preferred language setting. Now if you download your profile, your achievement list is shown in your profile language and there is now way whatsoever to change it. Then when you unlock a new achievement, it is shown in the language you set up
    in console option. This really doesn't make sense at all.

    But what if you want to play games in english and not in the language of the country you live in. What would be the "correct" way to achieve this? I always have the feeling of doing something wrong when changing my console to the us or uk. On my ps4 it is
    sufficient to change the system language, and everything is like i want it to be.
