    I like achievements if they end on a 0 or 5 don't like the weird numbers achievements

    I agree to this. A lot of games I would have given up on or not experienced certain parts if there were no achievements.

    I love being a completionist myself however try not to go for the super long completions. Ultimately that's just time I could spend on more games.

    My family ( ranging in age from 7 to 47 ) all competes to see who gets the highest gamerscore each month – gives us a way to challenge one another without necessarily enjoying the same games. Each month we set a pair of prizes: a) highest score during
    the month, b) bonus for exceeding 1,000 in a month. It's a blast. I think achievements are a great little bonus, and definitely handled better than trophies elsewhere.
