achievements doesn't pop as notifications

So going on about 2 months now I have yet to have an achievement pop as a notification. It unlocks, I just don't receive notifications on xbox. It does pop as notification on my actual computer however. Anyone have any tips. Tried hard resets, power cycles,
removing account and reinstalling it. This is across all games by as well.

Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes for an achievement to appear. Also look in your achievements, the notification sometimes doesn't pop up.

 

Please Help! Xbox One records game play randomly

It doesn't pop up twice. Its the same notification pop-up, the text switches from Game clip recorded to what ever the achievement title was.

 

You may have to change the notification settings on the Xbox. Try the link below for directions.

Sorry bout the issue at hand my friend. Do you not get any notifications, or is it just the achievement notification?

For something like this it usually depends on how well your network is working because it has to sync all this info to your profile from our live services, and you do have to be on our live services to get these achievements. I would try a

soft factory reset if your notifications settings are already set to display the achievements. Make sure you have your email and password before you do this troubleshooting. If you don't want to remove all your downloaded games and apps you can select Keep
games and apps from the reset button options.

Just achievement notifications and they are on and I’m on open nat

Thanks for reaching out and keeping us updated! I do want to ask; the notifications for achievements was working up until 2 months ago, so did any settings change at that time? I would say to try the following:

change the console to Energy-Saving
Mode:

1. Press the
   Xbox button to open the guide (Don't hold the Xbox Button on the controller)
2. Select
   System >Settings
3. Select
   Power & startup
   >
   Power mode & startup.
4. Select
   Power mode
   to change the setting to
   Energy-Saving
5. Go back to Settings > Account
6. Select Remove Account > Select your account > Yes remove.
   
7. Then restart the console by pressing the
   Xbox Button
   again. Go to
   System
   and select
   Restart Console
   (Not Settings).
8. Press the
   Xbox Button > Add new > Add account Email and Password

Side Note:
It is very important to make sure you know the primary email/password to the account before removing it from the console.



To check the email being used with the gamertag, go to
Settings > Account > sign-in, security & passkey;
in middle column at the top it will say "show on home"
if it is checked it will rotate from gamertag and email on homepage. If it is not check marked, it will show in this box.
