Achievements are down... again

I had a chat with the support three times now, the´ve been honest and told me they have no clue what to do to fix this

Ain´t this great?

Their solution was just to wait until something happens, they can´t say how long or if this will fix the problem.

 

I have the same problem with Metro 2033 Redux, I have 4 achievements that show 100% on the smartglass app, but will not pop. I have been able to unlock other achievements since then in Metro, but still waiting and hoping that the broken four will pop.

 

I find it amazing that the last time I looked this was a support forum but there are no MS support people here replying to threads.

There was a major issue about a month back with the achievements not working because there were problems with live. And yet they have still not implemented a fix to this new achievement system when it goes down.

They really should have stuck with the xbox 360 way of achievements and not this new xbox one way of only being able to unlock them when you are online and there are no problems with live

 

I can't believe we're here again and there's still no official answer on the matter or a fix on the horizon. Let's recap the issues (and this is not the full picture, just what happened to me and close friends)

Part 1 - random achievements stuck at 100%. People started complaining, had achievements stuck for months.... They were few and far between, no one knew for sure what was going on.

Part 2 - the second titanfall DLC comes out and it's madness. I believe almost everyone that played during this week was affected, be it on Titanfall or in another game. That's where **** hit the fan and Microsoft had to act, fixing every achievement stuck
(be it from the first wave of problems or from this wave of problems).

Part 3 - Gamerscore collapse. People started reporting what appeared to be a rollback on their gamerscore. 1.000, 5.000, 10.000, 20.000 points missing. Only from X-Box One games. No pattern at all, random games were just erased from some people's gamertag.
The issue was slowly fixed, took 3 days for some, 7 or more for other.

Part 4 - A bit like first part, some achievements getting stuck at 100%, just to be unlocked 10, 12 hours later. In the big picture, that one was a minor issue, what's a 12 hour delay on a 50g achievement for someone who lost 10.000 gamerscore for 7 days?

Part 5 - The latest crash. It seems a lot of people that were playing at the time and unlocked achievements were affected. I'm stuck for 2 days now with the "get to level 70 with 6 different classes" in Diablo 3 stuck at 100%.

Come on. We paid for this consoles, we paind for this games, and above all, WE PAY FOR X-BOX LIVE! It's not a free service. Get your **** together Microsoft! This is already ridiculous and it's much worse to hear that support still does not have any official
info from Microsoft on what to tell us.

It's clear that Microsoft is completely lost on the issue and still doesn't know what to do to fix it once and for all.

: you can blame the idiots on the 360 that cheated to unlock achievements by using imported saves. if you got a save file from a game with all the achievements unlocked and imported to your 360 and loaded the save file, then all the achievements
would unlock for you. that's why we have this new way for unlocking achievements. this is suppose to prevent that.

 

I got a bunch of achievments for Diablo 3 but they haven't popped yet, they show 100% completion, am I ever going to get these achievments?

 

Yeah this new system is terrible. I thought by now they would have popped but nothing. I better have not been jipped out of 110G

 

I have 4 achievements on Diablo 3 for the Xbox One completed at %100 A New Start, Above & Beyond, Just riffing, and Gemkata, I guess the achievements server was messed up when I got them, the challenges in the game are unlocked but I still don't have the
achievements. I've been waiting a couple days and I hope they pop, because I wanna go for %100 conpletion

What gets me is that even though they have prevented GS cheating with this new system we are now being punished for not being able to unlock achievements when Live is having problems.

There must be countless people who have locked achievements from no fault of their own, but when Live has a belly up it stuffs up the whole achievement verification system.

I have 4 locked for Diablo from 2 days ago and that is past the 48 hours which is the official time to wait for them to pop.

And still no support people in this forum to actually acknowledge that the problem has happened again and they need to implement the fix they did about a month ago. And also to hopefully try and find a permanent solution to this problem.

First, if you have an achievement sitting at 100% but you still do not have the gamerscore for, please wait a full 48 hours from when you completed the achievement before posting again.

If it has been past 48 hours, please post the following:

• Game(s) you are experiencing this in
• Console you are experiencing this on
• Exact achievement(s) that you have sitting at 100%
• Time that you gained the achievement(s) (or best estimate)

When you post this up, I'll get you bubbled up to the proper teams.

yea! my diablo 3 above and beyond and trade in unlocked today. everyone posting here should check and see if their locked achievements unlocked to.

 

I can confirm mine have unlocked. I didn't physically see them do it, but I checked my achievements and they are now listed as unlocked.

Hedge-hopper - On the level FRONTLINE kill all of the enemy Red Army and Fascist Soldiers.

Raider - On the level DEPOT silently kill the first guard and break into the Fascist station unnoticed.

Rescue Ranger - Save a group of Reds from Fascist captivity.
