Achievements are displayed in spanish

So, I contacted the support for this and somehow it is finally working to my liking - the achievements are in english now. I don't know what was exactly the issue, but I will post things I thought are relevant.

It was sorted either by:

1.) someone doing something behind the curtains (I don't think that's the case, but it is a possibility)

2.) Czech republic region is somehow connected to spanish language. I have no idea how or why, but it's an option. I had only 1 language installed on my OS Windows 10 - czech. when I installed english/US and changed the language to it (in win10 -> settings
-> time and language -> language), achievements tab was changed to english as well.

3.) the achievement tab takes the settings from last language added to the operating system. Since spanish was the last language I added (eventhough it was only a keyboard layout), xbox may have remembered spanish was the last language and therefore switched
to it.

4.) A random (?) option was chosen: My operating system had only 1 language installed - czech. And since the achievements probably cannot be displayed in czech and there was no other language installed it chose (somehow) spanish. When I added a 2nd option
- english - xbox account found czech as primary then found english as another language on my PC so it is choosing english.

I have no idea which option is correct or if they are all wrong, I was not provided any explanation, just an information that's a known issue, but it seemed without known fix.

So what I have done to fix this for anyone having the same issue (it may not help you, but it is worth a try):

1.) go to your OS -> settings -> time and language -> region.

2.) change it to United States

3.) go to OS -> settings -> time and language -> language

4.) try to change it to english (us). If you can't, click the link below to access the MS store and find it there and install it. It may take some time (for me the MS store downloads are slow - took me 2 hours to download)

5.) set the language to english / US, you may as well change your keyboard layout to english (us) as well

6.) restart the PC

7.) log in, check the achievements tab - it should be in english now.

8.) go to OS -> settings -> time and language -> region / language and change everything back how it was.

9.) smile and enjoy.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. We recommend first going to Xbox.com check your region. You will also need to do this on the
account website as well. This could be from your region set to a Spanish area. IS this all achievements or just few games?

Check the settings in your micrsoft account as they are linked. Make sure that the settings there are in English

Hi Kriva,

I noticed you edited your last post saying when you try changing the region to Czech, you get an error stating you have already changed your region in the last 12 months correct?

Try going to Xbox.com and sign in. Then click on the icon on the top right and go to Xbox settings and then select Change 360 account region and se what options it gives you.

If nothing else changes after confirming you language settings and region settings are all correct on your Windows 10 system, Microsoft account, and Xbox Live profile then you will need to report this issue by contacting customer support since we don't have
the tools on the forums to investigate account issues.
