Achievement Question For PC and Console?

Hello,

If you have a game for Xbox, and your able to play on PC, can you unlock them? Or if you just have a game for PC, can you unlock them for your console. I got a game the other day and I could have sworn that it said Achievements, but the game is only for
PC. So I am a little confused. The game is West of Loathing. Thank you!

So to be Precise not all windows 10 games provide achievements with their games as opposed to the same game on Xbox. If its a play anywhere title the achievements are combined with Xbox One and if it Windows 10 they have a separate list if the developer
chose to include achievements for their windows 10 game.

If you want the achievement list you can look on the Xbox App on PC/mobile or if you haven't played it yet, check this site: https://www.trueachievements.com/

And I just checked, that game may not have them enabled at all. Which is up to the developer. haha

Hard to say though. I'm finding conflicting info. Try playing it then checking the Xbox app.

if the game is cross platform should unlock for both. i mean i play SoT on pc and sometimes on xbox i get achievements from one and they count for both

Thats what I did do. I know I seen that it had achievements. I have played it, and its not showing up under my games. I am signed into the correct account too.
