Achievement/Game List not Updating

Last week, my game list stopped updating. This is the same issue I had for nearly a month back in August that was finally resolved on September 5th.

Playtime stats are not tracked. New games don't get added to my list and old games don't get bumped to the top. A new issue is that Witcher 3, the game at the top of my list, has disappeared completely from my achievement list. Xbox 360 games are unaffected
and update fine.

I talked to support on Thursday and went through all the tests and they agreed something was wrong on the server side of things. They said they were passing it along to the escalation team, but I haven't heard back yet. I'd hate for this problem to
persist another three weeks like last time, especially with Forza coming out on tomorrow.

Achievement List not updating

Good news! It seems to be fixed. Play time stats weren't tracked while mine was broken but other than that, everything seems to be working normally.

 

This is an ongoing problem for Xbox at the moment. Sometimes looking for an update for the game or uninstalling and reinstalling the game fixes it though.

 

I'm in the exact same boat. Had this issue at the end of July and it lasted all the way until early September.

About a week ago, the same issue arose. No game I play updates to my Achievement List, nor are stats tracked, but all of the achievements I unlock end up on the Activity Feed.

This is really aggravating. I call support and I get the same troubleshooting reports. I know this isn't a "me" problem or system troubleshooting.

 

Question - do you play on numerous consoles in your household? I'm starting to wonder if that's an issue, or why it seems like the same people are having this problem vs. others who don't experience at all. I remember you posting about this before.

Myself and others are experiencing the same issue with Achievements and the progress for The Witcher 3 having disappeared completely from our profiles.

I do use two different consoles. One is an X and the other is a base Xbox One from launch. They’re both in the Xbox Insider beta, but I think they’re at different levels.

I also noticed my Discord connectivity is broken. After this started, it no longer showed the game I was playing on my Discord status

That was going to be my question how many are in the preview or insider program? That could be part of it being you do beta test new and upcoming updates it could be messing with achievements and such. You can check out the

preview forums here maybe it is an issue there.

I just un-enrolled both my consoles from the Xbox Insider program and now it's working properly. I don't know if it was working before that, I wish I had tested a game before unenrolling.

Well, except for Witcher 3 GOTY. But that could be a different issue.

My console is not in the preview or insider program, I am going to contact the developer of The Witcher 3 again today with all of these questions so that maybe they can look into it further.

I have exactly the same issue my Witcher 3 GOTY failed to update game progress and disappeared rom my game list. Had been in contact with Microsoft in multiple occassions for couple weeks but they finally went into slient for a whole week. No solution yet.

 

It is a very old bug that on some updates its fixed and then it comes back again all I can say it is an ongoing situation

 

I'm referring to the issue where my whole achievement list doesn't update properly and playtime stats aren't recorded.

This is the third time it's been broken in as many months, and it would be nice to know if the XBL team is actually working to fix the underlying issue so it doesn't keep happening. I estimate it hasn't been working right for at least six weeks out of the
last three months, which is kind of ridiculous.
