Achievement failing to unlock.

I was directed to post here by a customer support personnel. I have had an ongoing issue with my digital copy of SoM: Game of the year edition where 2 secret story achievements, 'Gorthaur the Cruel and 'The Hammer falls' are failing to unlock, preventing
me from having 100% completion. I've performed every troubleshooting method listed on the Xbox website and those listed by the community, such as the extensive method posted here: Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - Glitched 'Locked' achievement problem solved.

This method also did not work, and caused me to lose my 100% save game for SoM, much to my disdain.

The last method I attempted was to reset the OS on my console, selecting 'keep games and apps', which then caused my external HD to be wiped and remove all games from it, and I am currently re-installing all my games, which is extremely frustrating. I've
tried everything possible and have no options left, so I'm posting here to see if there's any way to help.

Ok, so this may sound like a stupid suggestion, but all of the guides that I've seen for this achievement suggest using the drop in method of a second player. Perhaps try this only signing in with one account and playing as a guest as player 2 rather than
your daughter's account. Of course, this assumes that you both are using separate accounts.

Tonight my daughter and I "finished" our first game together, Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga in XBox 360. I say "finished" because our final achievement, "Arcade Master" failed to unlock after earning the requirements for it. I triple checked the requirements
and went through XBox support where they had me clear my cache and hard reboot the machine. I tried for a 4th time to earn it and it still didn't unlock. Support has thus sent me your way.

The achievements requirements are very simple, and just require 2 players to play in arcade mode and for one of them die 100 times. I've watched a few video's to confirm the requirements, ensured no in-game cheats were enabled (via their unlocks), etc.

Support did mention that I have to wait up to 72 hours, but I'm an old XBox 360 game dev who implemented achievements for 3 different games. I can confirm there is no requirement for validation of an achievement online to have it earned, and achievements are
granted immediately.

What I'm wondering is if there is anything you guys are able to do on your end that can help us finally earn this elusive achievement. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated. We are excited to finally complete this game and look forward to whatever
game comes next!

Hi Papi, I'd just like to add that I have attempted those two links. I have also performed the following troubleshooting methods:

> Creating a new save of the game, destroying the tower of sauron and killing the hammer (achievement requirements, 'Gorthaur the Cruel' and 'The Hammer falls', respectively)

> Uninstalling and then reinstalling the game, creating a new save and playing through to the required missions.

> Completing the steps listed here: Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - Glitched 'Locked' achievement problem solved. which follow:

> Completing an OS reset (keep games and apps), which subsequently deleted all data off my hard drive, including the game in question.

The steps I completed caused me to lose my 100% save game in SoM which I was hesitant to lose but thought it would rectify the issue, which it did not.

Can't seem to find any other solutions, nothing in online forums or on Xbox support seem to fix the issue.
