No way to transfer unfortunately, so they will have to start over. Keep in mind that in Marvel you are allowed 4 separate save files and therefore they can keep playing on your account with out interring. For all other games they can then use their own account.

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to answer your question. It sounds like you'd like to know if you deactivate this account to get this gamertag to a new account to see if its possible. If no other player has taken that gamertag it should be possible.

Hi no because it maybe a GT that is currently being used and it wouldn't be fair to remove it from someone. If it remains inactive for 5 years then it will become available.

 

Or what Paul the moderator said. It's a little unclear what you are asking. I apologise if I mod read.

 

If you own the account with that gamertag and you close the account completely that gamertag will be gone forever.

If you own this account and want that gamertag on another account you would need to change the gamertag on that account (cost of 9.99) then that will free up that gamertag to be able to be put onto another account.

You will want to do this at the same time so that if you change the gamertag and decide to wait it will be free for someone else to take until you put it onto another account.

Just adding a bit of information to what the community has brought to the table. What can perhaps be done is setting up an

Microsoft Account Alias to possibly change the email attached to the GT and getting rid of ONLY the email. By changing the email the logins change so lets say if the current email (X) is no longer wanted then create email (Y) and as long as it isn't attached
to any Microsoft account (Xbox or Microsoft Rewards) it will be able to be added to the GT in question. Now we understand this all sounds a bit confusing so what can also be done is to

Request a Callback from one of our Xbox Support Specialists to look into doing this in a step by step manner.

All in all the GT cannot be placed on a reserved list but the Alias is a possible solution to the problem at hand. Hope that helps!
