    I just purchased minecraft on my ps4 / ps5 and when I try to link the account to microsoft I get the following error

    "account you are trying to use is already connected to another account on "Playstation Network"

    I've never owned minecraft on the ps4 / ps5 so I'm not sure how this could be the case. I've tried to do this on both my ps4 and ps5 and the same error is provided.

    I'd like to unlink / fix my account so that my playstation account can be linked properly.

    Hello Again, the big question is, only account owners can link or unlink game developer accounts, this type of option is available on the administration page of your email account, be it Microsoft, Gmail, or Yahoo.

    Well I tried that, tried contacting sony, and tried contacting xbox game support as well as this support channel. Eventually I was just forced to create a brand new microsoft account just for this one game which is really aggravating. I'm not even that interested in the game, but I am setting up a server for my friends and need to be able to test it on the platforms we'd like to support.

    I only have one Minecraft account also only one PlayStation network account.

    I also try to create a new Minecraft to login same PlayStation network account, same error in both account - Oops! Looks like the Microsoft Account you are trying to use is already connected to another account on “PlayStation Network”

    I’m very sure I use correct account to login my Minecraft account :(
