    Account suspension and Case Review


    I got suspended on Thursday 30 August for inappropriate communications here. After receiving the suspension I filed a case review to appeal my suspension. After I submitted the case
    review I was informed that it would take 24-72 hours to review my appeal which didn't happened at all. After the 72 hour period had past I decided to contact Xbox Support why my case review hadn't been

    updated they said this. It didn't resolve my issue which I won't have expected them to but did give same guidance on the matter. Everyone I know that filed a case review was either contacted
    or the Enforcement team made a decision within the 24-72 hour period. Also note it's the Enforcement team's policy to make a decision within 72 hours of submitting the case review.

    Has anyone had this issue with Xbox enforcement and case review?

    I cannot submit a case review.. the suspension isn't on my account.. I sign into the enforcement page and I scroll down and I see no suspension... so therefore I am not able to submit a case review. I contacted the support line on Microsoft and they told
    me about my suspension.. but I am un able to file a case review since I cannot see the suspension penalty on my account on the enforcement page.

    If you think that this suspension was issued in error, you can file a case review, if the suspension lasts for more than 24 hours.

    To file the case review, go to https://enforcement.xbox.com/ and sign in with your suspended account.

    Click on the yellow tile with the hammer on it, and click on the currently active suspension and file a Case Review.

    If the suspension is "only" for 24 hours, you'll just have to wait it out, as a Case Review would take longer than the actual suspension, and keep you suspended longer.

    The enforcement team does not use the forums. It can take up to 3+ days to complete a case review and it's a long weekend in the US so that could also contribute to the delay. There's nothing that can be done other than waiting unfortunately.

    The Enforcement Team does not post here on the forums. The only way to get in contact with them is to submit a case review, if you're eligible.

    Log on to http://enforcement.xbox.com to review your suspension details, and see if you're eligible for a case review.

    I cannot file a case on my suspension

    If you dont see the option to file a case review then you are not eligible.

    You can only file a case review for a suspension that is longer than 24 hours. You must file the case review within 12 months of receiving the suspension. It will only work on account suspensions not console bans. Finally you can only file one case review
    a year.
