    Hello, I'm here typing this because I was un-able to find the help I needed through the contact page. I would have done this much sooner if I had known I might be able to recover my account this way.

    I got my account stolen a few months ago while I was playing Minecraft. I got tricked by a fake email authorization on discord and got my Microsoft account compromised. They hacked my account and changed all of the security questions, the main email, password, everything. I have no way of accessing it at this point. After that they tried to get me to buy it back from them.

    I was able to recover the original email I used to sign up since I had a recovery email for it. I would love to get this account back since I have a lot of memories on that Minecraft account and I hate seeing it online doing the same thing to others. I hope that someone can help me with this.

    Though, even if I don't get it back it's fine, I have a new Minecraft account I bought recently on this Microsoft account. I can always regain what I lost, no problem.

    it is strange that if the account was stolen the first priority wasn't to remedy that situation but to continue to message with the stolen account? Sorry I am confused, either way the forums cannot assist this would be an issue for microsoft enforcement
    and perhaps even the authorities.

    You should also report it to the local authorities if you believe it is stolen.
